ACT Sample Questions

ACT - American College Test.

The ACT is America's most widely accepted college entrance exam. It assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work.

The ACT test is made up of four individual tests:

• English - In the ACT English sample questions, some questions ask you to choose the selection that best rephrases an underlined portion of the passage, and others ask about the passage's overall organization.
• Mathematics - The ACT Mathematics sample questions includes various problems like geometry problems, trigonometry problems, and a few straightforward arithmetic and algebra problems.
• Science - The ACT science sample questions contains the information in the form of graphs, tables, charts, or diagrams; descriptions of experimental studies and their results; and presentations of differing theories or hypotheses about a particular scientific question.
• Reading - The ACT reading sample questions contains the topics from the natural sciences, social science, and the humanities. A group of questions designed to test how well you understood each subject follows each passage
